Michael grew up working on his family’s cattle farm in Easton, KS. He was mentored by his grandfather, Charlie, who owned Watkins Ranch in Atchison, KS. He was also a saddle bronc rider on the rodeo circuit. After college, Michael spent a brief time in network marketing. Ultimately, he decided to follow his dream of starting a horse ranch, which he has shared with his best friend Cody since elementary school.

Tonya Theis is one of the owners of the Watkins C Ranch located in Leavenworth, Kansas. Tonya is Michael Green's Mother and also known as the mother of the ranch. She has been teaching riding lessons since 1995. She enjoys teaching the next generation of horse riders, leading camps, and retreats. She also a founding member of Horses 4 Hope, a non-profit organization. When not teaching enjoys spending time with her four children and husband, Jerry.

Megan Green
Megan grew up on her family's cattle ranch in Easton, Kansas with her brother Michael. Megan grew up working and riding at the original Watkins "C" Ranch where she taught lessons, planned events, and managed the social media accounts. Megan graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agriculture Communications & Journalism. She enjoys putting her skills to work by teaching students about horses and capturing the moments through her photography.
